SolarBOS is an Original Equipment Manufacturer serving the needs of the solar energy industry since 2004. We manufacture several product lines that are used in the "Balance of System" category of photovoltaic (solar-electric) projects. At SolarBOS, we develop products using flexible platforms that allow our customers to tailor our products for their specific requirements. We can provide a wide range of top level part numbers from very few key sub-assemblies and a wide selection of components. For example, we can deliver combiner boxes ranging from 4 to 24 circuits with several different enclosure options to the latest UL-1741 standard. All of our top-level assembly work is performed at our UL certified facility in Livermore, California, and we have the ability to ship directly to construction sites if needed.
We have supported solar projects ranging from the typical residential installation to commercial systems over 2 MegaWatts in size. SolarBOS has supplied some of the largest PV system integrators in the country (please see our customer list) and has supported approximately 50 MW of projects over the past few years in North America. We know what goes into the design and construction of Solar Electric systems. We've been there. And we will continue to improve and expand on our products.
