Where are your products built?

All SolarBOS products are manufactured in Livermore, California, and in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Are you BUY America Compliant?

Yes, we are.

Are your products listed?

All SolarBOS products are ETL listed to UL-174. Several products are also listed to UL-508A and UL-1699B.

Are your products rated for continuous duty?

Yes, all of our products are rated for continuous duty.

Can you drop ship directly to the jobsite?

Yes, we do this quite often.

Do you offer current sensing on your products?

Yes, we offer current sensing as an option on almost all recombiner products.

Can you add surge protection?

Yes, we offer surge protection as an option.

Does your product include fuses?

Yes, our products include fuses unless otherwise requested.

Load-Break vs. Non-Load Break?

Load-Break refers to disconnecting a combiner while it is under load from the inverter. Whereas, Non-Load Break requires the inverter to be shut off prior to disconnecting the unit.

How do contactors work?

Contactors allow system operators to remotely disconnect a combiner under load by shutting off the 24 VDC power supply. Our contactors require a 24VDC power supply in order to close the circuit. Contactors can also be configured to automatically disconnect when the building loses power.

What is your warranty?

Standard 5 year warranty applies, extended warranty is available.
